Keynote Presentations
Saturday April 18: Join us for a presentation by Dr. Jesse L. Berry, and learn about her experience providing care to RB patients, as well as current research projects.
Sunday April 19: Join us for a presentation by Mitch Hendry (MSc, CGC), and learn about his experience from RB patient to genetic counsellor at SickKids.

Panel Sessions
Saturday April 18: Join us for the panel discussion “From Every Angle: A 360° Conversation on Retinoblastoma Care.” This panel will focus on the different aspects of retinoblastoma care, feature talks from a patient partner, ophthalmologist, pathologist, and oncologist. Engage in a Q&A session.
Sunday April 19: Join us for the panel discussion “The RB Support Network: Stories, Strategies and Resources. Learn about the support resources available to patients and families, opportunities to connect with others, and how this has impacted members of the RB community. Engage in a Q&A.
Research Workshops
Join us for collaborative research workshops. Please note that these workshops are split into two parts, taking place over the course of both Saturday and Sunday.
1) Early Diagnosis: Scaling Up 3D Printed Red Reflex Training Models (Led by Ashwin Mallipatna and Dhruv Kohli). Identify the top three barriers to scaling up 3D red reflex training models through a group discussion with patients, clinicians, and researchers. Share, group, and rank challenges, then outline potential solutions and next steps to build a clear, collective path forward.
2) Co-Designing Retinoblastoma Genetics Education Videos (Led by Mitch Hendry and Shay Meyer). Review prototype educational videos that explain retinoblastoma genetics topics in a clear and accessible way for retinoblastoma community members. Listen to audio segments, review sample visuals, and provide feedback to enhance clarity and usability.
3) Closing the Gap: Second Cancer Surveillance for Heritable Retinoblastoma Survivors (Led by Helen Dimaras, Michelle Prunier and Sarah Ridd). Help co-create a pilot plan for a retinoblastoma study focused on improving secondary cancer detection. Explore key priorities and logistics. This workshop will also welcome Sarah Ridd from the CHARM study team (University Health Network).
4) Advancing Retinoblastoma Research with Patient-Oriented Biobanking (Led by Frances Argento and Tamsin Tarling). Learn about biobanking and its role in advancing retinoblastoma research. Engage in workshop activities to address key biobanking challenges, and tour the SickKids biobank facilities.
